Lola Ortega Rodas is a visual artist who works with digital illustration and hand embroidery on fabric and paper. She combines these two techniques to merge the speed of digital work with the slow, tactile process of embroidery. Lola transforms her digital illustrations into embroidered pieces, reinterpreting them both visually and conceptually. Through her practice, she creates moments of stillness and intimacy, using embroidery as a meditative way to weave her own reality and connect with it. Lola lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
